If they had a GM with any clue I would be up for trading Knies. He's great and probably their only playoff type forward but, he can't hit, can't play D, is a winger when there's such a need at C and D. But I wouldn't want Treliving to be the one to do it

Reading an article about how Knies has been dealing with a knee injury since November, and I can't help but see that coming into play in March if they're fully out of it and need to tank hard so they can keep their pick. Shut down Matthews, Nylander, Rielly, Woll & Stolarz. Rielly needs to play...

OEL to the Red Wings for a 1st in 2026, Brandsegg-Nygard and Lombardi. Big veteran and quality boost that fits their team well. Lombardi is reaching waiver issues for them I think. Detroit has a lot of good young players.
