Re: 2023-2024 Offseason Thread: NHL Sets May 7th as official date of rigging lottery against Wangs
I wonder what direction they'll take. Realistically they need a coach who can help young players like Perfetti and the next wave (Lambert, etc.) but it doesn't seem like the team could afford (in the most literal sense) a step back in the standings.

Ranking the teams that could move up all the way, personal preference (i.e. doesn't hurt the Wings or my feelings)
11. Habs: They need a 1C to tie everything together, their fans would be off the wall obnoxious about it, they won the lottery for Slaf and are obnoxious about him finally playing like an average 1st overall pick. No.
10. Chicago: If they were in the Wings' division they'd be 11th. They didn't deserve Bedard as a lifeline back to relevancy, they don't deserve Celebrini as Kane/Toews 2.0. They deserve to be contracted, or, at the minimum, lose a couple of first rounders as a legitimate punishment.

I keep running into an internal server error when trying to post the rest of what I wrote but let's be honest, those are my biggest concerns. Go Sharks.

I feel like there's a max length the backend is expected that causes the error. It's probably a MySQL setting (or a PHP setting)? which version of phpBB is this?

I'll look into a max length thing. It is weird I was able to do grades for all the Wings forwards and that post didn't crash it.

Travis Green as head coach in Ottawa? That's a choice.

I’m trying to decide if Brady Tkachuk would be into daily bag skates. Part of me thinks he’d get really into barfing on the ice.
Stooter, not so much

Winning the lottery is the only thing that can save this awful Travis Green news

Well at least the Hawks didn’t win. Wanted to see them fall

Sharks deserved it, a shame Chicago didn’t drop to fourth

Actually, good point! I think that rules out max length. It's some weird text thing, I'm pretty sure. If you can access the full error logs that might help nail it down.Grand Moff Larkin wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 11:14 am
