Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
That's probably in the ballpark of what Arizona wants in return for OEL, but Edmonton absolutely can't do that sort of trade
Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
I'm not that hot and bothered to get OEL and his contract in any case, but if we can do it for 2021's first, Klef/Nurse/lesser prospect, unloading Russell or Neal, with salary retained then I guess I'm in.
Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
NYR-TB subsidized DeA+ for Serg+
1. Rangers extend Deangelo 5.5 x 6
2 rangers retain 1m per = 4.5 effective
3 Rangers throw in a prospect W like Jacob Elmer
4. Rangers throw in NYR + DAL 2020 3rds
for this
NY gets Sergachev rfa rights, gives him deal commensurate w/market, slight volume discount for term, I'm guessing 6 x 6.5 ish.
Rangers also get TB 2020 2nd

Tampa really missed Tony D’s locker room presence this year
Any trade in which one team gets the best player and the best pick is a good one

Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
Any time you can trade 2/3 of its top line, move down in the draft, and acquire a cap dump, you gotta do itDetroit out: #4, Mantha, Bertuzzi
Detroit in: #7, #8, #18, #20, Mittelstadt, Okposo
New Jersey out: #7, #18, #20
New Jersey in: #4, Bertuzzi
Buffalo out: #8, Mittelstadt, Okposo
Buffalo in: Mantha
Detroit is already set at RD with Seider and Hronek, so they pass on Drysdale in favour of landing 2 of Perfetti/Rossi/Raymond/Sanderson/Askarov. They also pick up a couple of mid 1st round picks, plus a young reclamation project with some upside in Mittelstadt. Okposo will be off the books by the time the players from this year's draft are due for extensions
New Jersey add Drysdale to their rebuild, as well as a top 6 winger in Bertuzzi
Buffalo add an offensive RW to their top 6, while also dumping Okposo's contract

Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
Like I don't know if that's reasonable value or not, but it would be Incredible Dumb for Yzerman to just punt until 2023 or whenever the 18th pick might actually play
Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
Fortunately, Okposo would bridge the gap until 2023 perfectly.

In the PLD thread
2. Do the Senators exist in a thousand years? How is there rebuild coming along then? Is Euge still the owner?

In a "John Gibson to Colorado" thread
You’re looking at a combination of byram/newhook/1st/2nd
maybe all 4 to be honest
Bryam, 2 firsts, Compher, Francouz, Jost

Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
I reactively snorted
Fill in the gaps....
Van : E Pettersson
Mtl: K. Kotkaniemi
My option:
Van : L. Eriksson - J Virtanen (total 8.5 M)
Mtl: Gallagher (back home) - 1st 2021, 1st 2022 (Total 4.7 M)
Based on Cap Friendly $$$$ should work (I think)

And of course
No way Habs hand out KK, Gallagher, 2 1st round picks for Pettersson and a cap dump.

Re: (Morally) Bad HF Boards Trade Proposals
This one legitimately confused me
Marcus Pettersen
Jankowski
for
Glendening
2nd
3rd
Detroit gets a young number 4 LD locked up for years and a player to fill in for Glendening.
Pitt gets an upgrade to the 4th line with a guy who is strong in the dot. They also recoup some picks since that have one this year and clear some cap.
