I love listening to Tony Romo I feel like he's taught me a lot today

I always called him "puppy boner" when he played because they'd cut to him on the sidelines and regardless of whatever happened he'd always have a look on his face like he was showing pink.

His commentary is exactly the same.

the couple that own the bar at which i spend all my money are gonna be in Philly the weekend of the superbowl and I was trying to find pictures/media that would prepare them, first choice was obviously
Image

cuz there was a tweet about city staff greasing up the lamp posts in the watching-sports district to keep people from climbing up them after whatever result unfolded.

anyway I'm obviously jealous and also aware that if I quit drinking I could afford to take trips to the dirt cities I wanna visit.

ha yeah the enthusiasm is nice but I feel like he tells me shit I don't know and points out stuff I don't recognise too. but when faced with good commentary like that I often think that maybe I find hockey guys so annoying because I know stuff about hockey and don't know much at all about the NFL and so it grates when I keep getting told when guys are changing and maybe if I didn't know about hockey I would find that informative. but I kind of doubt it! cuz Ferraro is always telling me great stuff.

Romo was pretty informative yesterday but it was still outweighed by "Wow! Brady!"

And Pats fans still griped about how he hates the Pats.

Ferraro has been on a couple of NBC / NBCSN games lately and it is such a huge, huge difference from :edzo: and/or :pierre: . The former nitpicks, the latter states facts from memory. Ferraro actually thinks before he talks.

I hated Romo as a player and I hoped he would go down in flames as broadcaster. He was super awkward his first game, laughing and making weird noises, talking over the refs, telling long, boring stories.

But I love watching games he's working now. You learn so much and see that next level of strategy. He has renewed my interest in football in a lot of ways and I can't wait to watch him call a game with Jimmy and Rat Face Jr. next season, they both have that same understanding of the high level strategy of the game.

yeah I certainly watched yesterday's game with more interest than I can remember ever having in an NFL game. part of that is the game being good obviously but I wanted to hear what he thought after every play basically.

Jimmy reportedly close to signing! :mact:

I can finally unclench. Rumors are something close to Derek Eyeliner Carr, which is great. I was expecting something more like $30M, which I would have been happy with since we have like $120M in cap space.

Pats are in trouble time for the refs to step it up.

Honestly all those calls that have gone New England’s way all year went Philly’s way tonight.

He said some real inexplicable shit, like thinking the Ertz TD would be an incompletion

Brady's profile picture for the game looked like Michael Jackson.

UA's own (via Michigan State) Nicholas Foles!

Wildcats I think had the most players in the SB of any school, which is pretty crazy because we're bad at football.

Now he's doing his Master's in Divinity at Liberty University, the school Jerry Falwell founded. Learning that sure put a damper on my enthusiasm for SUPER BOWL MVP NICK FOLES

I don't know why they kept showing video game versions of Brady and Foles, especially since they looked like they were from Madden 2008.
