I enjoyed quite a few rounds of Gator Golf in my youth.

I golf a few times a year. Needless to say I'm not very good

i get out for around 10 rounds a year

i'd like to go more but i don't have the money to do it, looking at $50 a round at any public course within the city...luckily they're pretty decent

i'm at a point where i'm more or less satisfied with all my gear, which is nice

usually score between 90-100, but last year a number of my rounds were in the 80s which was fantastic

just feels fucking awesome to get out on the course nice and early in the morning when the grass is all dewy on a summer day

by the time you're done, it's getting hot and you can sit on the clubhouse patio having lunch and getting smashed

The best part about golfing are the bag beers. Nice and sweaty by the time you get to the 10th hole

Last time I went out was for my friend's bachelor party. We got real shitty and one of my pals drove the cart into a stream

I was going to vote for you for the Ron MacLean Memorial Mac-Bulin Award, but now I'm having second thoughts.

The key to drinking on the course is to bring the same beers the beercart girls sell

occasionally i'll grab a beer at the turn, but often they're not even selling it yet because it's illegal to sell before 10 AM in BC

i would bring my own beer from home but i have this problem where i drink it all before i go to bed

i got some new shoes last year (adidas tour 360) and i can't say i'm thrilled with them

there was a lot of praise and tons of good reviews, and they were given to me as a gift, but they're so damn heavy

i would be happier with some footjoys. they'll easily be just as comfortable and a hell of a lot lighter

just a cautionary tale if anyone is looking at new golf shoes (which i highly doubt)

i have a taylormade burner as my driver. really like it.

i don't hit very long off the tee (200-250) but i'm good at hitting fairways. usually around 15 per round
