PDOcast is pretty good. I've certainly learned a bunch from Dmitri's guests.

Haven't heard of Dexter Guff before, but sounds good -- I'll give it a try!

Yup!

I'll also say that Jon Gabrus will bring down any conversation to depraved depths.

Yes, although Dan Lippert as Todd Padre on Teacher's Lounge is pretty close.

Oh speaking of which this season was incredible and South Pole Santa, in particular, was unfuckwithable.

I've listened to the first three episodes of Teachers' Lounge and yeah it's friggin hilarious. I can't remember any specifics right this moment except the coach losing his temper and serving bad lasagna but it's great.

I was infuriated that they discussed Dream of the Blue Turtles AT LENGTH without going into an episode of Blue Turtlin' but other than that great ep

I heard the first ten minutes on my way home from work and simply cannot wait for the other hour and 50 minutes. I can't believe that I was bamboozled on the Andy Daly thing those were from four years ago when someone here originally told me to listen to them. Better late than never I guess. I think he has new eps but they're behind the Stitcher paywall.

i can't believe i'm saying this but i'm finding the scotts to be a bit exhausting

maybe it's because of the completely different relationship i have to REM (love everything up to 'automatic for the people', actively dislike or never listened to the rest) vs. U2 (mildly positive opinion of their entire output)

Yeah I've been experiencing a lot of the same. I've had a hard time wrapping my head around it, because their bro chemistry still seems to be there. To me, I think it might be the nature of the bands themselves. REM was always a "serious" band in the sense that it's hard to mine comedy out of Michael Stipe, but basically everything Bonobos always did lent itself to mockery and whimsy and it's a lot more fun to make fun of the grandiose personality of U2 than it is to try to poke fun at relatively normal dudes.

I've been enjoying it, but for sure not as much. I think maybe 2.5 hour episodes are... a bit much?

Still listening to them, tho.
