The Metropolitan is a tough division to predict. The Islanders will be fine. Carolina should be worse but still good enough to make the playoffs. Washington and Pittsburgh both have major injury concerns and I wouldn’t be surprised if both fall off. The Rangers should be better because their young guys should be better but who knows, they should have been better already. The Devils will be better but I still don’t think they have enough offensive depth. The Flyers could be terrible or could rebound, I guessed the latter but who knows! The Beej will be bad.

It's pretty much a crapshoot outside of 1-2 (Isle, Canes) and 8 (Beejs).

Metro was definitely the toughest division to pick. I could see the Flyers being considerably improved based on their additions over the offseason, and I think this is the year the Penguins take a step back (largely due to injuries/time missed to Crosby, Malkin and LeTang the Astronaut Drink for Astronauts to Drink in Space)

Watching the BLOT PNES broadcast on ESPN and it's a marked improvement over NBCSN. McDonagh and Ferraro are great, no constant asides to fucking :pierre:

Barry Melrose looks like a million years old. Levy's still good as the host.

Chelios seems like he'll be fine once he gets more TV reps, kind of reminds me of Osgood's early days on Wings TV. Messier just does big laughs and talks about guys he knows.

Would pay so much money to never see the clip of some Seattle fan yell "Release the Kraken!" again

These camera angles are like when you're cycling through cameras on NHL 2006 or something and go "Oh no not that one"

Really don't care for these weird new 'cheering' sections that some teams have rolled out.
