I assume Suter and Parise are untradeable.

Well this is the problem. Fletcher's deals have made things insanely difficult as far as making adjustments to the roster goes.

Although I'd hate to see them go both Staal and Zucker would make sense to move. Coyle too but I don't think he would get much of a return. Only other players I'd want them to move they can't and
won't because the players stink.

Nino might get a good return too but I don't want them to trade him even though it's warranted.

Dallas Stars acquire F Andrew Cogliano from Anaheim for F Devin Shore.

Cogs is a good player but the Stars need more scoring and got older, more expensive, and less productive

It’s a good thing he didn’t call Chiarelli first

Pronman ranked the prospects again, Veleno is one spot ahead of Poehling. I'm sure that'll go over well.

According to the Friedge, Oilers are “all in” on making the playoffs and Puljujarvi is available. Katz cares more about one round of playoff revenue than he does about actually winning.

Katz wants money? No way!

I do think Nyquist would be a great fit on McDavid's wing (and swapping Talbot for Howard might help them out, too), but I don't see how they add contracts at the deadline without moving money out, and as dumb as Holland can be, I don't think he'd agree to taking back Lucic or Spooner unless the other part of the return was hilariously in his favor.

On cue from HFBoards

Quote:
2019 1st (top-5 protected) + 2019 2nd + Bear + Spooner

Nyquist @ 50% retained + Andreas Athanasiou

I'm sure value-wise this is fair-ish, but I don't see any particular need to give up AA, too, especially since he seems to be having a breakout year.

I’m all for strong team dynamics but that bobrovsky situation seems so petty to me. Didn’t like the pull that started it more than whatever bobrovsky did.
