Flames had a good chance late but Gibson made the save

Calgary has a number of solid players — Huberdeau, Weegar (although I just saw how brutal of a year he’s having), Kadri, Andersson — but no one that strikes fear in me. They have all the guys you’d put around stars but not the stars.

Finnie gets tripped right off the draw, 34 seconds of 4 on 4 then the PP

I do think Calgary could recoup a lot of rebuild capital if they move a bunch of guys. They have dudes contenders would want.

Larkin turned on the jets with a loose puck and made no errors on the finish, 4-0

Larkin and Rasmussen on a shorthanded 2 on 1, Larkin forces a pass to Ras for an unknown reason

Wings with four goals on 13 shots

Can’t really blame Cooley on that, either

No Edvinsson to start the third, blocked a shot in the second. Won’t return.

Amazing that the Wings are up four with like two seconds of PP time prior to this penalty

Now it’s 4-2 after Compher gets interfered with behind the Flames net and the Flames get a 3 on 2 the other way

Now it’s 4-3 on a point shot from Weegar

Osgood liked Hamonic firing it intentionally wide in the offensive zone but it started Calgary’s transition
