Great four way passing play ending in a Nelson goal

Latvians did a really nice Leafs impression on that Nelson goal. Puck deep in the offensive zone with <20 seconds left, fire an off balance pass toward the point that gets picked off, over backcheck, and even a defending player following his stick into the corner to collect it which Knies used to do semi-frequently

anyway the first half of that Latvia game was great, and they had a real chance to go 2-1 up on the shot that Boldy blocked. I would have loved an upset obviously but it was nice to see the US get rolling too. it is unbelievably sick to be watching such a tournament and I want the teams to be performing at a high level
