I think players should be shooting from everywhere moving forward. The boards are basically camouflage.

I was pulling for Germany for most of the game. Still don’t care for Stooter, but I definitely dislike Brady more.

I don’t think Matthew Tkachuk is anywhere near 100% or up to full game speed yet, he’s gotten points but hasn’t been a fucking pill like Brady.

I don’t think there’s another NHL player who embodies the “I cannot stand this fucking guy” sense of playing beer league with a total shitheel quite like Brady. It’s not him punching a guy, it’s him cackling afterward.

I was busy making cupcakes for Kid Artillery’s birthday during the first period but I wasn’t sure if Larkin was playing until they were on the PK.

I'm a bit worried that the Canadian women's team are a bunch of what futbol fans would call donkeys

Weird that Finland gets the Swiss, who I’d rather play than Czechia or Sweden

It was 1-0 Slovakia when I first woke up and checked the score, now I’m having breakfast and it’s 4-0

Cannot fathom disliking Timmy enough for it to even enter into a mental equation if you wanna root for him or Brady. The only other fanbase that hates him is Habs twitter - do you want to be like them?

It sure seems like the refs are just letting Slovakia just do anything they want with more or less no penalties? I missed the second period tho.

The schedule seems pretty brutal for the teams that had to play yesterday, btw. Will be interesting to see how the other three play out but Germany looks gassed.

I’m not saying it’s close between them, Brady is absolutely more loathsome.

Did you see the montage of uncalled penalties against Draisaitl? They mugged him all game. That said, the German PP didn’t do much when they had chances.

I’m probably underrating the Swiss, but the US seems the most likely to get upset today
