USA doesn't have those offensive black holes on their blueline.
Morrissey being out is a bigger deal than people have made it

Matthews looks a lot more engaged today than he has when I’ve seen the Leaves this year

Yeah, it really hasn’t been a talking point I’ve seen much at all but they could’ve definitely used him in the knockout stage. Feel gutted for him, having missed the 4 Nations Final too.

Surprised they called that to be honest, even if it’s the definition of a hook

Depending on which ref called it:

Clearly the US ref called that as favouritism/The Canadian ref is some kind of Alberta separatist

Segment 2: it’s a real passing of the torch to McDavid from Crosby

Kevin Bieksa has a passing resemblance to Nick Kroll who, in my estimation, would be a much better hockey commentator.

My prediction for the second is that the Wilson Bennett Marchand line carves out a cave in Hellebuyck’s chest. He had a clear line of sight on everything in the first.

A lot of the Miller Nelson Trocheck line, especially against the McDavid line, and not much of Larkin’s line.

For all of the “No Robertson, no Caufield” whining, the US PK with Trocheck and Miller has been awesome
