It’s a pretty huge game for the first one back, difference between the Wings being up 7 or 11. I don’t know if that’s “can’t be caught” territory yet but the stakes are big for the SNES.

At this point the SNES only (semi-?) realistic hope is 8 seed. Going down 11 to the wings would not be good but the bigger cost is just the 2 points on the group of teams fighting for 8

Got absolutely eviscerated with stomach flu Monday night so I've been going to bed at like 8, 8:30, getting great sleeps. Now I'm up eating doritos at 9PM, still at least 45 mins to go before I try to soothe my fury after the what is seeming like an inevitable 3-1 loss with Detroit having 18 shots on goal. I make very good decisions, you see.

Getting a point out of that is huge (for their push to not have to give up a lottery pick). A pleasant plot twist, anyway, was so sure DET was going to drop one in late in the 3rd.

Supposedly Ottawa has had long-term interest in Mackenzie Weegar, but 1. he's been terrible this year 2. he's not getting any younger 3. I'm not sure what Ottawa would send back (because I don't see Calgary moving him for nothing)
