Supposedly Ottawa has had long-term interest in Mackenzie Weegar, but 1. he's been terrible this year 2. he's not getting any younger 3. I'm not sure what Ottawa would send back (because I don't see Calgary moving him for nothing)

I don't think Leon deserves to get credit for 'his' 2nd goal last night, he was two players removed from touching the puck when it went in. in soccer that would be an own goal with no assist. hockey should adopt this scorekeeping practice. it's silly to throw hats on an occasion where one of the player's goals was an opposition player passing the puck off another opposition player into the net. who is with me
