I have always heard it as: they start out tired but as they get into the game it comes back? Let's hope I'm right!

(tbh, I feel like mine makes more sense although I can also see fatigue coming back in at the end if the game is super fast and hard fought). Maybe a "both are true" thing again?

I didn’t get a good replay of the trip of Shine, but that Cousins crosscheck was 100% a penalty and basically stopped both teams from doing dumb shit after the whistle
