Reid goes to Seattle, I’m sure they’re thrilled

JERTS could go Bjorck, Verhoff, or Gustafsson

I like Bjorck more than Verhoff. Verhoff seems like he’ll top out as a 2/3.

If I thought Verhoff was a 50-60 point guy, I’d be there on him, but he feels like more of a 40-50 point guy. Ekblad light?

Shreds take Wyatt Cullen, not a center but more offensive upside than the other forwards available

Blooze take Tynan Lawrence with their first of many picks

There was talk of him falling because he wasn’t great at BU but I think he’s the last guy who could be a top-six center.

Blooze gets Mason McTavish for the 15th and 29th picks

Guess Larkin isn’t going to Anaheim

Is Trey Augustine ready to step up making Cossa superfluous?

Augustine needs time in the AHL next year but I think he’s the guy longterm. Michal Postava came in and ended up being the #1 guy down the stretch and in the playoffs. The writing was on the wall but it’s still a bummer for a few reasons (same first name, have him in fantasy, rooted for him for years).

I had no familiarity with the guy the SNES took, but he was 60 on Wheeler’s final list
Lagerberg Hoen, who missed most of his draft year after blowing out his knee in a game in October, has one of the more unique statistical profiles in this class with 36 goals to just 10 assists for 46 points in 47 games at the J20 level over parts of the last two seasons. He is, as you might guess from the goals-to-assists ratio, a shooter. He's relevant as a 6-foot-2 right-shot winger who can put the puck in the net. On top of his quality as a shooter (which includes the one-timer on top of the wrister/snapper and a shooter's release), he also has comfortable one-on-one hands in tight and out wide to his body, and he's a standout skater who can attack and challenge defenders both rounding corners and turning on the jets off the rush. He has scored some pretty goals in transition against his peers and can pick a corner from the flank on the power play. It's a little one-dimensional, and he doesn't make his linemates better, but his ability to create his own looks and then finish on them is real, and because of his skating, he's a useful forechecker and tracker.

The lost time, peculiar play style and age make him a tricky eval, but he's also really good at his one or two tricks.
