Just confirming I have looked over rosters and budgets and made all necessary adjustments. I have not looked as closely as in recent years but things seem to line up, so I think we are as ready as can be.

I am hopeful I can make the auction tomorrow. I will be doing it from the ICU waiting room so things may change for me.

This is for NeuArt:
If anything else needs fixing, roster wise, you can go into "Transactions" and then Commissioner Add/Drop to make manual adjustments on each team.
For budgets, it's located in Commissioner Settings > Team Administration

Can I put a suspended guy (McAvoy) on IR or do I have to keep him on the main roster? Can't remember

Anyone in need of a starting G? I'm flush! All are UFA, deals present with $/remaining years

J Swayman - $10 x 3
J Daccord - $3 x 5
B Bussi - $8 x 2
J Markstrom - $8 x 2

I also have unsigned prospect:

L Merilainen (36 GP)

Am I 1) playing two matchups simultaneously and 2) somehow losing by the exact same score in both of them?

I regenerated all the matchups after I reduced the league size to 11 teams, and they were all balanced when I checked. I have no idea why this happened but I have an admin ticket in.

Okay I guess with the length of our schedule and combining weeks 1 and 2 it had to add double matchups because it couldn't get everyone to even games played with just bye weeks. I have deleted those for now and will figure out how to balance, I may end the league a week early to fix

Okay, to fix this I shortened the season so that we stop accumulating stats after April 4 and skip the last couple games of the season. I've also unmerged the final 2 weeks. This gives us a nice round 20 weeks, so everyone plays everyone twice.

Right now the schedule is a little fucky and some teams play each other more and some less. I will have to go in and manually correct so each team plays each team twice but it should be do-able.

So, this was a very good idea and got me thinking which eventually resulted in some action.

I have something that runs locally on my machine that can sync with fantrax league/rosters + sync with nhl.com stats

It shows salary cap info, etc, basically a replacement for my google spreadsheet. Will make it super easy to list RFAs/UFAs at the end of the year. I fed the league rules into it

The only downside is Fantrax doesn't have any APIs to let you set rosters - that all needs to be done there.

If people are interested in helping pay for the hosting, I could deploy this thing somewhere? I think if everyone was using this it would reduce both commissioner work to almost zero beyond setting dates and hounding people as well as personal team management!

It's also extremely easy to add new features if we want to, for example the next RFA signing and draft could be done there with minimal oversight, ex: you have 12 hours to make a pick, if you miss it you auto-draft the highest available NHL draft guy.

Is that something that could be hosted on this domain? You’re welcome to try it out if so

Possibly! I dunno how open your hosting is - like for it to work I need root access to the server. I'm looking to see if I can swing this with a free hobby Vercel account

Also, I only had salary/contract info from 8 spreadsheets (and user practice's seemed super out of date) so if there's a team with none of that info, that's why
