2023-2024 Offseason Thread: RIP Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau

Lol this sucks so bad

[neuartillery]

Oh no Habs fans are happy

Horrible

[neuartillery]

Not sure if Utah goes Silayev here, they could use a dedicated PP guy like Dickinson or Buium.

[neuartillery]

Calgary doesn’t get Iginla

[sutterfamily]

Was kinda secretly hoping for Iginla to Ottawa. I imagine SNES go with Buium here but there's a few other picks that are also totally fine. Please just don't do something dumb.

[neuartillery]

Silayev would be a good complement to the offensive guys on Ottawa

[sutterfamily]

GOTTA be a defenseman tho. All the intriguing Fs are gone.

[sutterfamily]

I don't think they go with him but would be fine with that, Parekh or Dickinson

[neuartillery]

I hate Leah Hextall so much, she sounds like she’s talking to elementary schoolers

To be fair, probably the same level of cultural awareness

[sutterfamily]

And there's the kill shot. Sutterman did not survive the night.

[neuartillery]

Well, they took a RHD

[neuartillery]

“My NHL comparable is Jakob Chychrun” says Meghan Chayka, unironically

[Cacophony]

How much raw meat can this kid eat

[neuartillery]

Can he get some training sessions in with Chychrun before he’s traded?

[sutterfamily]

I guess 30 goals is pretty good, not like they drafted McIlrath or something right? RIGHT?

[Cacophony]

Maybe they could share that massive zit on his upper lip

[Cacophony]

He had a lot of goals in the WHL but so did Kris Russell!

[neuartillery]

Genuinely surprised the top eight is so forward heavy

Pronman’s pretty high on him, feel like he was third or fourth ranked on his list. I think he’ll be fine.
