yeah it was great. I love watching Liverpool but I realised last night that I wanted them to lose. Way more interesting to cheer for doomed teams like Spurs.

Man I was kinda hoping for that but I'm fine with United being mediocre with him at the helm for the season.

Bayern winless in 4 straight. Loving this while it lasts. 7 games in and Werder are 3rd!

The Special One got a special lump of coal this year. I'm surprised it didn't happen a lot sooner, as is the rest of the world I believe.

User practice, was Aguero offside? I saw the goal, then went to take a leak, and came back to the score still 4-3.

Anyway, a final four of the Champions League with Barcelona vs. Liverpool and Spurs vs. Ajax should be amazing.

he was offside which was kind of disappointing because I love Raheem but wanted Spurs to win.

And Barcelona folded so hard.

A little from column A, a little from column B.

New kid on Jr's soccer team this year that nobody seems to know. The coach was away so his dad ran practice the other night. It's immediately clear that this dad has WAY more skill than any soccer coach I've seen to date. Turns out he played pro in the Albanian Superliga! I have no idea what that actually is, but I assume it's pretty good.

Oh my fucking God I can't believe Spurs just won that. That was absolutely amazing and Lucas Moura was huge obviously. Lloris saved a sure winner for Ajax in something like the 88th minute. This was somehow more insane than yesterday.

One of the best matches I've ever seen in my limited viewing. I give it a C+.

Overall, this has been one of the most ridiculous knockout round years I can remember, with Ajax turning it around against Real Madrid and Spurs taking Man City down...and then yesterday and today? Would watch again!

Will have to watch this match on replay later. Don't like Spurs as a former meh Arsenal supporter, but do like that a team that's never won is in the final.
