I think so. Core is obviously good and able to play the right way. Biggest need is some finishing skill but I'll save that for the offseason thread.

Not blubbering, some voice quivers though. I like the guy a lot. He had a pretty good series and I don't think he was 100%. Hope they can build of this and be back next year. Seen so many teams have a breakout season and then crash out immediately after (see: Canucks)

Closing SNES thoughts for the playoffs:

Timmy Stu was 110% tonight but couldn't find a way to turn it into something. Brady was great. Sanderson was good, maybe not as good as the last couple games. Ullmark was fine - leafs got 3 goals on 3 xGoals - but not amazing. Batherson was pretty bad all series - wonder if the trial stuff was affecting him. Tyler Kleven had a great series, excited about that guy.

I didn't have to watch a single second of Travis Hamonic in the playoffs and that, ultimately, was the greatest gift.

Optimistically I’d like to believe that the Wings could take the spot of either the Habs or the SNES, but it’ll depend on free agency and rookies making an impact.
