I'm into the idea of them getting Jared McCann from the Kraken. I don't know if he's actually available, but 1. he has a reasonable cap hit 2. he always scored against the Wings and looks threatening throughout games 3. fucking hell I'd rather watch him than Tarasenko. I assume it would take their 2025 first, a prospect (hopefully not in the Danielson / MBN tier), and a roster player (Berggren?). I'd do that.

I also keep thinking about Seth Jones and whether that would be a good idea.
