I assumed as much

Will SNES fans boo him as hard as DeBrincat?

I think it will be much, much more intense than DeBrincat yes

At least that guy was here for one year and was just mum on anything beyond that and didn't spend his every breath affirming how all he cared about in the world was winning a cup in Ottawa.

I think all of them deserve it but for some reason my feelings towards Keith have changed over the years!

I wonder if Keith gets in when he does if we didn't spend the past five years talking about the various exploits of his famous sons.

From Russo's article on Larkin and the Wild
Basically, they need Larkin to do what Tkachuk did and declare he only wants to go to one team: Minnesota.
No! Don't!

It sounds like Brady was butthurt that he got booed in Canada after the Olympics (in fucking Edmonton/Calgary... he never got booed in Ottawa) which made him want to get out. You gotta be kidding me.

Diaper sales are about to go way down in Ottawa

Kypreous says Dallas is Larkin’s preferred destination. Supposedly Robertson doesn’t want to go to Ottawa. I can’t imagine he wants to extend in Detroit, either. Now I’m trying to figure out who else would work in a three-way deal. Maybe Chicago with the fourth pick if they want another player alongside Bedard?

Not shocking. I know Ullmark didn't want to come initially and they convinced him but it's pretty hard to see that happening with Robertson considering what some of the other trade options would be.

Maybe Babcock will do a meet and greet at a local grocer and mentally terrorize some lucky fans

The New Jersey Devils are trading defenseman Šimon Nemec to the Calgary Flames, league sources told The Athletic’s Pierre LeBrun.

In return, the Devils will receive two first-round picks — via the Vegas Golden Knights in 2027 and the Colorado Avalanche in 2028 — both of which are top-10 protected. They also landed a 2026 second-round pick, via the New York Rangers, and 21-year-old prospect defenseman Ettiene Morin, league sources told The Athletic’s Chris Johnston.

Along with Nemec, the Flames received veteran winger Maxim Tsyplakov, who had two goals and two assists across 49 games with the Devils and New York Islanders last season.
Flames fans seem mad about the return but 1. I think Nemec will end up being good, especially with fewer roadblocks in deployment 2. Those firsts are going to be very late anyway

I also think that commits the Flames to drafting Viggo Bjorck, as they'll have Nemec and Parekh with some other options at D
