Other notes after watching on replay knowing it was gonna be 2OT but not knowing who won:
- Lundell is such a good player, two wonderfully weighted passes into space for the two Marchand goals.
- I think there are probably 10 offsides called in a game that aren't offside and even if only 3-4 of these are actually onside it makes sense for linemen to intervene less given that any goal that results from an offside play will be challenged
- Kane looks great, Marchand was amazing, Bob was amazing, these are incredible games
- there was a hook/obstruction by Ekblad early in the 2nd period that reminded me of Hawrchuck's on that Gretzky-Lemieux Canada cup goal. Just like two hand hook across the midsection for 2+ seconds on an oilers player pursuing a dump-in. Yet there were multiple ticky tack through 2 periods. Horrible horrible reffing in both games imo
