Compete Level

JERTS down 4-0 in Montreal with less than 3 minutes left just won 5-4 in OT

Unfortunately that will save Scott Arniel’s job for another month

Can he go to the AHL? At this rate I wouldn’t wait for World Juniors i think he can be sent to the AHL now as he wasn't drafted from the CHL, but yeah, get him out of there. loan him to his Swedish team too the JERTS waived Lambert today; wouldn't be surprised if he's claimed and put into an actual...

Viggo has 0 points in 14 games. Not ideal!

they need to get him out of that tire fire ASAP at this point

I half wonder if he'll still be on his "conditioning stint" then and conveniently not be ready to play

Fair, but a high-floor 3rd line C who can play most situations is something the JERTS will need soon when Adam Lowry's body breaks down

Viggo Bjork and Alexander Command for a decade sounds pretty good

that's a tad lacklustre but w/e, at least it's all done

Now to see who the Devils are dumping on someone else to make the cap work

To Wpg: Dawson Mercer, Nico Daws, Alexander Command and Nick Bjugstad plus two draft picks.
To NJ: Connor Hellebuyck.

Depending on those draft picks, about as good as I could've hoped for I suppose

nick wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 11:47 am I could probably be fine with Mercer, Command and a first or two

Looks like this is mostly right?

I'd really rather not have Dillon back. He was fine, but he doesn't move a needle whatsoever

The only guys making $4M+ without trade protection are Mercer, Mantha and Luke Hughes, and certainly one of them isn't gonna be part of the deal

Timo's got a full no move

Yeah, they only have $1.1M in cap space, and Mercer's only making $4 so maybe a dump comes back as well. Anthony Mantha's $4.75? lololol

I could probably be fine with Mercer, Command and a first or two

The JERTS likely wanted Benson, and Buffalo wouldn't do it.

I assume that means Dawson Mercer's coming back which... meh

NJD apparently

Hellebuyck likely being traded today... needless to say that this is instantly the most important decision Chevy will ever make
