Apparently Petry just had hernia surgery, so he’ll be out until mid-March / April.

As frustrating as he is to watch higher up in the lineup, having him rotate with Holl would’ve been nice. (I still can’t get over Holl running into a teammate on a 3 on 2 and causing a 3 on 1 the other way.)

I’d wonder if Yzerman trades for another defenseman, but there are so few available and the prices would be astronomical. I’d rather see Tuomisto or Wallinder get a look.
