Originally I wasn't going to watch tonight's game but I'm going to miss the next two. They probably should have used some of these goals vs. the SNES

i watched the bad game the other day but not tonight's. seems like they got some frustrations out..

The last period tonight was so stupid, Sabres kept (literally) fighting and getting tossed. They had six guys and the backup goalie on the bench by the end. After one brawl, the ref announced “Minor for roughing on 77 Detroit and misconducts for everyone else,” which was hilarious.

A shift after Rasmussen had to fight Tuch for a clean hit on Bryson, Greenway went out and elbowed two guys and somehow got matching misconducts with noted goon JT Compher. Albert Johansson and Zach Benson fought. In a later brawl, one Sabre held AlJo’s arms behind his back and Benson came over to punch him. Two guys tried messing with Edvinsson and he just dropped them. During the last one Seider basically rolled his eyes like “I’m not figuring, I am sick of this shit.”

okay i've watched the clip of that whole thing like 5x and even with your incredible explanation it's still so confusing.
except ed stuffing those dudes, I rewound that 10x and he's just "okay but you asked for this"ing them. so good.

Edvinsson dropping Tage Thompson like he was a cardboard cutout was delightful.

I assume most of the third-period BS came down to the Sabres getting embarrassed again (most of it happened after it was 6-3) and taking out their frustrations in the most-Sabres way possible. None of the Wings particularly wanted to fight — it’s not like Albert Johansson is looking for trouble. It was funny to see Benson so mad at him, though.
