I stopped watching after the fifth goal but checked the score while watching college basketball. When they got within two again, I thought “Hm,” and with 2:30 left I loaded it on my phone. The video started and Eichel put it in the empty net. Fantastic.

i did basically the exact same thing. its a shame since i dont get wings games regularly so i was excited to be able to watch

Moving Maatta is an underrated fuck-up, given how much has been said about dumping Walman. Imagine if they’d picked up a Maatta at the deadline and been able to sit Gustafsson or Holl.

Assuming that Kane comes back, the Wings really need another top-six winger. Ras is filling the slot with Raymond and Larkin right now but that’s above his depth.
