as I went to bed I realised that I have for 10 years been watching deciding games by myself in the middle of the night and last night was the first time I can remember answering yes to the question that has always greeted my arrival (did they win?)

On the replay my priority was seeing if Larkin was on the ice. He wasn’t — J’accuse was on the wing. J’accuse was terrible all night.

The US playing with basically ten forwards was stupid. If Matthew couldn’t go, he shouldn’t have been in the lineup. I also don’t understand taking Connor (who never really fit with any linemates) out for Kreider and then basically benching Kreider for the last half of the game.
