Not sure what got into Tarastanko tonight but more of that please

after this week the Leafs will have played all of these teams at least 2x already: Detroit, Montreal, Washington, Nashville, Buffalo, Columbus (3x), Chicago, Pittsburgh, Carolina. maybe this is not so unusual but it feels to me like every game is against a team they played the previous week.

Through almost one period of a viewing of Leafs v Stars I have this observation: I have never seen a team ice the puck so frequently, so zealously as these Leafs. after one basically intentional icing by Robertson Cuthbert tells us that the Leafs are the best faceoff team in the league so maybe this is actually part of the coach and GM's thinking

The Wings had a noticeable lack of them for a few years

Buffalo winning six in a row is a minor concern because talent-wise, I think they could be in the mix, but they still have most of the conference to pass.

It is absolutely cruel that the Wings are in first in the division in late December and any hold on the playoffs seems completely tenuous.

it used to be Nylander but I think he has vertigo or something, he's a bumbling oaf out there suddenly, somehow

SNES play buffalo tomorrow. Sabres have won the last five head-to-head, including 4-0 last season and an 8-4 thrashing earlier this year. Miiiiight be time to maybe win one of these.
