SNES had a good comeback against Buffalo and Ersson was decent, pretty fun.

Seems like the Sabres are a bit listless - like, their entire roster had amazing years last year but everyone's just kinda meh now.

Josh Norris is sitting on 3 points in 15 games. So is Josh Doan. Josh factor is not good in Buffalo.

Stu's hit another level this year, this little poke pass is so good/winning hockey and I feel like in the past he'd try to do something flashier.

I looked up a bunch of Sabres’ stats after that game ended — was surprised by Norris’s feeble stat line. He has three more years at almost 8 AAV. Benson’s done well lately but aside from Thompson they have a lot of B/B+ forwards and I think they need another star.

Didn’t seem like Ellis was the problem yesterday but I’m not sold on their goaltending situation. I wouldn’t have traded the 4th overall pick for Hellebuyck but I think they had plenty of of other pieces that could’ve made it work.

Ellis was great yesterday but I'd trust him about as far as I'd trust Sammy Ersson longterm, yeah.
