Chiarot played almost 27 minutes tonight, one of his best games as a Wing

It would be a bad time for Gibson to be hurt, as both Grand Rapids goalies (Cossa and Postava, who have each been great this year) are hurt.

ASP got benched for most of the third. He was the only D back on the Ducks 2 on 1 goal and I don’t think he played it great (kind of a lucky bounce to Gauthier off ASP’s skate), but 1. It happened because of a bad AlJo pinch 2. ASP’s issues that game were more due to in zone play. Curious if he gets sent down.

Seeing Shiner in Detroit tonight so no Wings game, but I listened to the first period in the car and was real pissed when they came back late from a commercial break and said “Well, the Sabres scored while we were on break.” That shouldn’t count!
