I also wondered about that. If I’m Larkin I don’t know if a Carlsson-less Anaheim is necessarily an improvement on Detroit. I don’t think Yzerman would take just draft picks, either.

There was a pending offer sheet on Pavel Mintyukov, but the Ducks signed him to a five-year deal at 7.2 per. He had 22 points last year and 0 in the playoffs.
