What a weird package
Mackenzie Weegar has been traded to the Utah Mammoth for Olli Maatta, Jonathan Castagna, and three second-round picks, all in 2026.
I didn’t think he was worth Iginla

Nashville has traded Nick Blankenburg to Colorado for a 2027 5th round pick.
I assume they missed having Girard, Blankenburg's looked pretty good in that role when I've seen Nashville. Could be a sneaky good deal for the Avs.

yeah I assume Blankb is a really good player based on Colorado getting him for nothing

Parayko is a good defensive add for sure but doesn’t make me scared for the future as a divisional rival. I’ll take it.

This isn’t a crazy price but Ottawa glad Ottawa is staying away from trying to make a 32 their 2nd pair right D of the future (again)

Yeah pretty good, though Roy imo is a really good player, wins faceoffs, good hands, smart and relatively mobile. Guys of this profile struggle in Berubeland where tape to tape passes are basically forbidden

I wouldn’t be shocked if the Wings end up getting OEL and a forward from the Leaves. Ideally they’d get a RHD (Faulk) but I could see them going for McMann / Laughton and OEL.
