I don’t think this is Lalonde’s fault—without Edvinsson they have one good defenseman—but I think something has to happen and I suspect that’s the easiest move to make.

I think the two losses to the Habs finalized it. If they’d won those games I think he’d still be the coach. After that it’s just waiting until after Christmas.
