You have to balance how well the Hagel or Paul trades paid off with their "let's send all of our picks for Tanner Jeannot" fiasco

Conditions on Brad Marchand trade to FLA:

The conditional 2nd-round draft pick will become a 2027 or 2028 1st-round draft pick if Florida wins two rounds of the 2025 Playoffs and Marchand appears in at least 50% of the team’s playoff games. Boston retained 50% of his salary
That seems like a pretty good chance. Although I'm curious if Matthew Tkachuk will be fully ready when the playoffs start. If they have to go against BLOT it could be a blutbath

I'm glad they allow those goals now, tho: it was a quick whistle and the puck went it untouched, it should count. They used to waive these off/not be able to review them.

Matthew Highmore is my new Noah Gregor, too bad Zetterlund couldn't make it in time for this game.

It's not my fault that Travis Hamonic keeps playing. (He seemed to have severely injured his knee in this game and I had to restrain myself from celebrating)

so many OTs are like one team doing all they can to not surrender possession of the puck to the other, often at the expensive of scoring chances and o-zone time. makes a giveaway like the one that led to the OT winner even more remarkable
