Yeah this Panthers team was honestly less loathsome than last year's. Like if Radko Gudas got a day with the Cup he'd used it to cripple division opponents while they sleep.

Bouch/Ek again were basically perfect. GWG was a stinker on a familiar level to Leafs fans in that yeah he should have stopped it but also yeah they only scored one goal. but man. I thought the oil fell in love with the point a bit too much in the 2nd, I wanted to see one of the low forwards try to take it to the slot.

Panthers did a great job denying the middle of the ice in the defensive zone. There were some great chances in the third, a lot of chaos in front, but the Panthers dove in front of shots and locked up sticks.

On that Reinhart goal, both Ceci and Kulak fell back into the same spot and gave Reinhart time / space to shoot, but I understand wanting to cover the pass to the slot. Ceci didn't have great positioning on that coverage (I think it was Verhaeghe and he would've been able to receive a pass and shoot) so Kulak had to help.

I really want to know if Draisaitl had a core or lower body injury. He had no burst / acceleration for the last two rounds.
