Larkin kept his point streak alive with a goal, MBN got his first NHL point with an assist on Berggren’s goal, but they definitely didn’t turn back into a good team.

Problems outside of "Wait you mean someone could be trailing on this play and we have to cover him???" which was most of the goals they allowed before I turned it off:

1. Raymond doesn't look 100%. They put him on Kasper's line and ideally he'd be driving that line, but that wasn't happening.
2. Kasper seems tentative. He's had a slow start to the year in terms of production and I think it's getting in his head.
3. Edvinsson was BRUTAL. I really hadn't considered the possibility of a sophomore slump for him, but his decision making is fried and he got benched for the third.
4. ASP wasn't much better. I get it -- if your defensive partner is doing dumb shit and you're a rookie, you're going to scramble a bit. But they're the second pair and it's not like I want Hamonic to come in.
5. DeBrincat is totally snakebitten. He should've had at least two goals but it's just not working for him.
6. They didn't have a ton of PPs while I was watching, but Kane is heavily missed. He's the creative engine for it.
7. Too much of the depth doesn't know what they need to be doing: Rasmussen is a passenger, Soderblom could've rocked Schaefer but held up, etc. Berggren has looked good the past few games but that's not much help.

Danielson got assigned to GR after coming off IR, had two primary assists in his first game back. Really hoping he gets a look in Detroit soon.
