I'm not staying up for the end of this game, so maybe the Avs find some life and come back, but I've come to terms with the only potential good outcome of Vegas winning another Cup: if Marner gets the Conn Smythe, it would be immensely funny

I opted to finish watching a movie instead of waiting for the third period last night, and when the movie ended and I turned the game back on (with like five minutes left), the Habs had the same shot total. They were also killing a penalty so I’m sure their fans were losing their fucking minds.

Hall got a goal after he was horse-collared down by Texier on a draw but now the Habs are challenging for goalie interference

Yeah it was at least sort of a weight off to see the Canes just dummy everyone? I kinda grew a slight newfound hatred of them (their fans on reddit are annoying and delusional but, really, my bad for even reading it) but I will be choosing them over Vegas 1,000,000 times out of 1,000,000
