I was confused because there was an initial review over a distinct kicking motion, with the result being "The Edmonton player kicked it, BUT," and I'd assumed goalie interference was the bigger question. Then they challenge for goalie interference, and Kane was being held in his spot so yeah it didn't seem like there was anything he could do.

Yeah, all of the talking heads were saying the same thing. As soon as they challeneged, I saw that goal coming. I didn't think it would happen 10 seconds in, but huge lifeline. The Kangs could gave buried the Goil last night. Instead, they might have turned the series against themselves.
