Things got dicey near the end of it but overall the second was much better, not just on the scoreboard

DeBrincat flips the puck off the bench during a zone entry with Reimer pulled
His brain needs to be power cycled

Sounds like Larkin will be a game-time decision against the Isles, Walman's out
If the Wings win, they'll be five up on the Isles (who'd have one game in hand) and three up on the Caps (who'd have two games in hand)
The Wings' next four games are @NSH (oof), @WSH (huge), @CAR (oof), @FLA (oof). So they really need this Isles game because I have a hard time seeing them do better than 2-2 in that stretch.

The rest of their schedule
@TB
NYR
BUF
WSH
@PIT
@TOR
MTL
@MTL
Curious if Toronto will have anything to play for at that point. A couple of pivotal games against Tampa and Washington.
Thirteen total games left, I think 8-5 is probably as good as they'll do. That would put them at 92 points, don't know if it'll be enough. Still blows me away that the Isles have 15 OTLs.

I'm surprised that Czarnik is still in and Sprong is out, but at least Kane and DeBrincat get Compher again

The big question is whether they’ll take a gigantic crap on the ice during the first period and then spend the rest of the game digging out of it

Reimer with a good save early off Larkin’s skate
Isles ran a pick play to make that happen
