He got a phone interview, guessing 4-5 games
I don’t know his suspension history but if he’s a guy who hasn’t been suspended for being a shitbag before, it’ll be fewer games.

Whatever his sentence is it should be doubled for making me hear the same shit about the shameful lack of toughness and togetherness and heart and don't forget soul and uh pride and, prejudice? protectiveness. Maybe presumptuousness, as in if you're Easton Cowan you could maybe jump Gudas while he was still getting up and get a few shots in and presume that the refs would be intervening and holding him back before he was able to get around to beating you to death

i simultaneously agree with you that this discourse is stupid while also acknowledging it is completely valid to view it as an illustration of this team's problems

I think it'll have to happen but I can't see how it works when you owe your first round picks for two years to other teams in your conference.

And Sharks I guess but basically feeling like Habs/Buffalo/Lightning are gone. Still can't believe that the Sabres are basically the best team in the League - it seems wrong. Hopefully they are peaking too soon.

How effing dumb is it that the like preview and establish the boundaries of the suspension a day or two before they announce the exact punishment. I don't think you could design it any worse

No, I am NOT coping.
Aside from goaltending, biggest issue I noticed desperately perusing the NHL standings/stats with SNES season so far is going 3 wins & 9 losses in 3v3 OT. That's too many extra points to leave on the table/give to other teams you are chasing.

I still can't believe the Penguins haven't collapsed but that happening would be helpful. Seems like CBJ is going to stay in it right until the end again.
