I’m mostly frustrated that the Wings are doing this well and are in a division where six teams would lead the Pacific.
I think they'll likely finish ahead of the Islanders but no in the 8 or 9 spot. 9 is probably the more likely spot.

There was a brief window in the third period last night where the Wings were up, the announcers were talking about how Boston couldn't win on the road, and they showed the Broons' remaining schedule (most playoff teams / more road games) and I got optimistic.

NYI 1-0 vs Beej last night - the one game we all really wanted CBJ to win, haha.

Dunno what the SNES will do in goal - I personally would start Reimer tonight and save Ullmark for tomorrow but maybe you go for the more likely points and hope Reimer can hold it together vs the wings?

They did start Ullmark back-to-back recently and he won both games BUT he was understandably worse on the second night, they just scored 7 goals so it wasn't as big a deal. I would think doing that against Detroit would be a good idea.

Should probably start Reimer in both

I will say that Detroit has been pretty solid defensively in the last while, I would be very surprised if someone puts up seven on them.

I typed wrong - I meant to say that I DID NOT think starting Ullmark b2b was a good idea.

I do think scoring 7 goals is a good idea! But I don't think it's going to happen or anything.

I got that but on the contrary I believe starting Reimer B2B is a GREAT idea

With this team, honestly, could see some scenario where that ends up needing to happen.

Reimer's starting tonight. Confirmed: I should be an NHL head coach.

Chabot and also 9th stringer Lassie Thomson have left this game, SNES are playing with 4 dmen here. Wonder if they'll call up Yakemchuk for tomorrow?

Must be nice to be playing a team that is absolutely not trying (Rags have four shots through almost two periods)

They are 100% NOT trying. Not sure I've ever seen a team try less tbh.

SNES have I think 3 posts, too. 2-0 is flattering.

Ha shit. I'm out and not watching and was wondering what the hell was going on with the boxscore.

Miller cross-checked Chabot right in the wrist and Chabot raced off in agony which was, you guessed it, not a penalty.
