Czarnik is still in for Sprong, and I don’t agree with that call. The reason why the Wings won a lot of their games this year was scoring depth, and Sprong provides scoring while Czarnik is a black hole offensively. Presumably it’s because they don’t trust Veleno defensively at center and then have three bottom-six centers on one line with Ras, Copp, and Fischer, but I’d find a way to make it work.

In any case, seems unlikely that they’ll bring Sprong back next year. I’d rather see Berggren, Kasper, or Mazur up, but who knows if they’d be trusted?
