Swiss goalie stops Cozens to clinch the win

I appreciated that PLD was just as listless in this game and his shootout attempt as he is in the NHL

they pissed away a 4-on-3 PP by having 4 forwards take turns going for a skate along the wall. then 2 dmen b2b in the shootout.

My father in law even noticed how bad the Canadian PP was

I couldn’t help but think of how the timing of this tournament collects the best losers for Canada: John Tavares, multiple members of the Buffalo Sabres, Pierre Luc Dubois

I think it’s great the Swiss and checzia are in the final. So boring when it’s Canada vs whoever. Means other countries are finally catching up

Satisfying job by Binnington of teeing up a shot for Grundstrom to give the Swedes the lead

Speaking of uninspiring choices, Kraken named Dan Bylsma their HC

He was a bad assistant under Blashill! Why hasn’t Blashill got a new job

Last night I had a dream that Yzerman used the Wings' first-round pick on someone simply known as "AO," a 6'5" 250 LB forward who, obviously, was an enormous reach vs. the draft boards. Normal stuff going on in my brain!

In his first NHL training camp, Babcock sidelined three well-liked veterans: Jason York, Denny Lambert and German Titov. Lambert and York said they arrived at the Ducks training camp to find their names had been removed from their stalls and gear cleared out. Babcock told them they could not be around the team at all, they said. The players practiced alone on empty ice in the afternoon.

At the time, Lambert’s 2-year-old son was in the hospital with a broken femur; he said he wouldn’t have left his family in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, if the Ducks had told him he was unwanted. Lambert said he asked Babcock why he’d been removed. Was it his performance on the ice? An issue in the locker room? Babcock told Lambert there was nothing he could do to change his mind.

“There was no respect at all,” Lambert said. “I would never treat anyone like that.”

Read it Friday. Rocks that fucking asshole gets off with a comfortable retirement.

His wife should get out and his kids should disown him. Can’t imagine how much damage he’s done to others that fucking prick

What a player. Wished one of those Sharks teams would’ve won.

I'm going to do a mock draft sometime to see how close I get, and the hardest one is Columbus. Lindstrom would make the most sense but his medicals are up in the air. Waddell's new, they have a solid prospect pool already, they probably think they can win soon. I don't know how teams will sift out the defensemen after Levshunov unless they have a handedness need (Ottawa).

Devils GM and Bagelworld customer Tom Fitzgerald:
“I’m looking on the back end, as well, for something,” he added.
