I feel great sadness about living outside of Canada for like a decade + but I am glad I wasn't/am not there for the hockey canada stuff being the top news story. also glad I was able to basically ignore the Marner RFA contract dispute. another thing is that watching this total shambles the Yankees have at SS, Volpe, almost visibly quaking in his boots when forced to make a routine throw the 1B, is really reminiscent of some of Marner's darkest days on the Leafs. and Volpe even has this same like childhood fan playing for his hometown team thing. anyway
